Everything on a competition race bike is a compromise between price/function/weight, every component can be made lighter but that increases price or reduces functionality in some way.
This seat has one aim, to dramatically reduce weight compared to a "normal" saddle at the minimum expense at still maintain a degree of comfort in use.
At only 190g this is a ultralight saddle for an amazingly low price, what more do you want. Comfort? Surprisingly its not bad.
